BWINDI FOREST RESTORATION PROGRAM

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World heritage in Uganda, is a biodiversity hotspot protecting nearly half of the world’s endangered mountain gorillas.
Deforestation and human encroachment, driven by agricultural expansion, logging and settlement are the primary threats to gorillas, leading to severe habitat loss and fragmentation.
This project includes renumeration for local communities involved in tree planting, tree protection and monitoring activities.

To students, hostels, resorts, lodges, campsites and all tourist that want to get involved to protect and preserve nature aiming at creating more space for the mountain gorillas and other wildlife by expanding Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
