Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe or Kigali

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport (Uganda) or Kigali International Airport (Rwanda). You will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel for relaxation and briefing about your volunteer safari ahead.

Travel to the world-famous Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home of the endangered mountain gorillas. Enjoy scenic drives through the rolling hills of southwestern Uganda. Depending on your interest, you may opt for a gorilla trekking adventure or explore the community trails around Bwindi.

Evenings are spent interacting with communities, enjoying traditional music, and sharing stories by the campfire.

  • Supporting schools on the lake’s islands.

  • Promoting environmental conservation and tree planting.

  • Assisting in community health and sanitation projects.

In your free time, enjoy canoe rides, bird watching, and nature walks around the lake.
